Vape Companies Facing Marketing Denial Orders (MDOs)

FDA Issues New Marketing Denial Orders for Flavored Vaping Products Today, the FDA added 28 more companies to its list of manufacturers that have received Marketing Denial Orders (MDOs) since September 17. These MDOs apply to flavored vaping products, bringing the total number of companies affected to 323, covering nearly 1.2 million products. Most of the new denials target small manufacturers, continuing the trend since the FDA began issuing MDOs on August 26. The FDA's new standard requires sufficient scientific evidence to demonstrate the benefits of flavored products for adult smokers, outweighing risks to youth.
